Snowy Days and Mondays

Today was cold with a tem­per­a­ture hov­er­ing most of the time in the teens. Work was busy which made the time go quickly.

I had a car-load of non-working elec­tron­ics which needed to be taken to the recy­cling cen­ter today. When I got there I dis­cov­ered they are already closed for Christ­mas which meant I had to drive back to work with my car-load of equip­ment and unload that which I just loaded only to load again another day. Tomor­row I will apol­o­gize to the sec­re­tary of Recy­cling and Waste Man­age­ment for the way I acted on the tele­phone when I returned to work.

My mother-in-law and brother-in-law learned today that they will close on their new home on Thurs­day. Both are very excited, believ­ing they are the only ones who have ever waited for a clos­ing date on a house. I truly believe they thought they could go to Aisle 7 at a nearby Wal­Mart, pick out a house and move in. They learned differently.

Sat­ur­day will be spent mov­ing them.

Tonight Becky made pot-pies for din­ner. They were deli­cious, but fill­ing and more than either of us could fin­ish. We learned Bella likes pot-pies.

Becky and I just fin­ished watch­ing another Christ­mas movie. Blessed is just the begin­ning of what I am to have her as my wife.

Time for bed.
